Dr. Nathan Kluttz, OD, is originally from the Manhattan, KS area and graduated from Kansas State University and Manhattan Christian College, where he also played basketball. His interest in optometry began as he worked at his father's optical shop, where he learned about the optometric profession while edging and repairing thousands of pairs of glasses. Dr. Kluttz joined The EyeDoctors Optometrists in 2009 after completing his Doctor of Optometry at Northeastern State University.
Dr. Kluttz practices primary eye care; addressing all patient's visual needs, treating ocular disease and eye infections, as well as any other eye-related emergencies. Dr. Kluttz is a member of the American Optometric Association, Kansas Optometric Assocation, and the Kansas Optometric Association Leadership Class of 2018, and his research has been published in the Journal of Vision Research.
Today, Dr. Kluttz practices full-scope optometry, including eye exams in Ottawa, KS, with The EyeDoctors Optometrists in Kansas, with whom he also serves as the Area Medical Director, a position granted by the Medical Executive Board at EyeCare Partners. In this role, he helps hold our expert eye doctors to the highest standard and assists in onboarding our new optometrists.
